About us

City Futures Design Collaborative is a multiple award winning architectural design firm based in Aluva, Kerala founded by Ar. Anjith Augustine in 2013 and was joined by Ar. Rakhi Mariam Johnson in 2016. With a young professional crew of architects, urban designers, heritage conservation professionals and engineers, we work together with a vision for making lives better and finer. We envisage spaces as living entities with each space defining its own character. The studio strongly believes that in the long haul, space has a power to re-mould the life of its inhabitants and ultimately influence the character of each individual residing there.

Each space and form is developed by us uniquely, responding to the individual site conditions, client requirements and the needs of the society. We strive to make the spaces that we create to respond to the climate making the spaces well-ventilated, uncluttered, welcoming and connected to nature. There is no scope for unwarranted extravaganza in the designs we make. We aim at fine tuning the client’s aspirations and dreams that fit in his budget rather than imposing the architect’s whims and fantasies. The form and style of the building is developed as a response to these parameters.

The design world is changing and growing every day making huge strides in the development front and our in-house research platform explores on various topics in the field of architecture keeping us up to date. Apart from our architectural projects, we also actively take up community driven urban design projects. The firm has won several prestigious architectural awards and is adept in handling projects of any scale.
