GATEWAY TO KOCHI INFOPARK CITY

Thrikkakkara municipality is the largest economy generating local body in Kerala, primarily because of the presence of Kochi infopark. It is the entry point to info park city of Kerala. Olimughal junction is the entry from Seaport airport side and the project envisages to give fitting entry to the IT city. The project primarily tries to redesign the junction solving its traffic issues and giving a new pedestrian promenade along the seaport airport side. The pedestrian edge is adorned with sculptural architecture representing the IT industry.

Smart bus stops, disabled friendly streets, amphitheatres, public plaza, prayer areas etc are provided in this stretch. Proper median is provided with integrated services and lighting. The junction is paved with blocks for smoother pedestrian crossing. The project is submitted to Municipality for further apporvals.
